MRS. ANNA BULLER

Mrs. Anna Buller, youngest daughter of Johann C. Voth and Karolina Herford Voth, was born in the village Gnadenthal, South Russia on June 18, 1870.

The family emigrated to America in 1874 and settled on a farm in Marion county, Kans., where she spent her childhood and youth.

On May 21, 1888, she was baptized upon the confession of faith in her Redeemer by the Elder Jacob Buller and was accepted into the membership of the Alexanderwohl church. When the Goessel church was organized in 1920 she transferred her membership to that church where she remained a faithful member to the end.

On October 20, 1905, she united in holy matrimony with Jacob H. Buller. With this marriage she accepted the duties and responsibilities in a family of seven children. One son and two daughters were born to this union. The son died at the age of six months. She was a loving mother, always seeking to promote the welfare of her family.

On February 12, 1927, our father died. She remained in her home until October 1949 when she came to the Bethesda Home in Goessel. As the evening of her life drew near, the shadows sometimes were deep, but she also had times when she could think more clearly and when she expressed her wish to go to her heavenly home soon. This wish was granted on March 22, 1951, at 3:48 a.m. She reached the age of 80 years, nine months and six days.

She leaves to mourn her departure: Mr. and Mrs. (Hulda) Art Woelk, Mr. and Mrs. (Susie) John Schmidt, and 11 grandchildren; also the children by father’s first marriage, to whom she had been mother for many years, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Buller, Mr. and Mrs. David J. Buller; one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She also leaves one brother, Heinrich Voth, and one sister, Mrs. Elisabeth Klassen, and nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at the Bethesda home and the Goessel Mennonite church, Rev. P. P. Buller and Rev. Orlin Frey officiating. — The Family.
