Mrs. Anna Buller

Mrs. Anna Buller, nee Nachtigal, was born Decembe 20, 1854 at Waldheim, South Russia, Molotschna Colony. At this place she spent her early childhood, and received her school training. In 1872, she was baptized by Rev. Jacob Buller and accepted into the Alexanderwohl church. In 1876 she migrated with her parents to America. Like many of the early Mennonite settlers, the children were obligated to work in order to make a living for the family. She found employment with David Goerz of Halstead, Kansas.

In August, 1877 she was united in marriage to John Buller. This union was blessed with one child, Margaretha, who died at the early age of 9 weeks. She attained the age of 74 years, 8 months and 18 days. The end came at the McPherson county hospital, September 8, 1929 at 11:00 a. m.

Funeral services were held from the Mennonite Church in Inman, Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. — Inman Review.
