Dr. D. Buhler, of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11:30 p. m. The funeral which was held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon was largely attended. Reverends Miller and Enns spoke at the services. The men's chorus of the Methodist church and a quartet from the Mennonite church furnished appropriate music.
David Buhler was born in the year 1879, the second youngest of eleven children of the family of Rev. and Mrs. Bernhard Buhler of Buhler, Kan. He attended Bethel College for two years and in 1898 he attended the University of Kansas. In 1904 he studied medicine at Rosedale. in 1905 he was united in marriage to Miss Helena Haneman. Since then he has lived and practiced medicine at Pretty Prairie. He is survived by his wife, seven children, three sisters, Mrs. Wall of McPherson, Mrs. P. W. Enns at Newton, and Mrs. J. C. Regier of Buhler and one brother, Mr. J. J. Buhler of Buhler.
