Pennsylvania Store Owner Dies in Florida

Ephrata, Pa.— Martin S. Buckwalter, 64, well-known businessman of Martindale, died Jan. 13 at his winter home in Sarasota, Fla.

A native of this area, Mr. Buckwalter was a storekeeper in Martindale for the past 27 years. He also served as Earl Township auditor and as past president and assistant chief of the Martindale Fire Company. He was a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted on Jan. 20.

Surviving in the immediate family are his widow, Bessie, three sons, five daughters, 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
