Mother of Five Killed As Car Leaves Road

Palmyra, Mo. — Relatives and friends in this community were greatly shocked and grieved when word came of the tragic death of Mrs. John Elvin Buckwalter near her home at Fredericksburg, Mo.

While she was driving to town the car for some reason left the road and went over an embankment. Her neck was broken.

She leaves five little children and her husband. Mr. Buckwalter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Buckwalter of Palmyra, were visiting in Lancaster County, Pa. at the time of the accident. Their son Harry of Christiana and a daughter, Ruth Keller, brought them home in time for the funeral service, held July 28.
