ALBERT BRUCKS

Albert Brucks, 56, passed away at his home near Hepburn, Sask., on February 14. He was born February 26, 1911 to John and Helen (nee Penner) Brucks in the Carson school district. He grew up in this area and also received his education in the Carson school. He was married to Bessy Edna Penner, daughter of Charlie and Sarah (nee Fischer) Penner on October 22, 1935. They settled in the Carson district on the farm which was his residence until the time of his death. Four children were born into the home: Lemar, Ivan (who died in infancy), Myrna, and Bonnie.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Bessy Edna; a son, Lemar; two daughters, Myrna and her husband Marlyn Pilatus, and Bonnie; one brother, John Brucks of Meadow Lake; three sisters, Mrs. George (Gertrude) Gossen of Langham, Mrs. William (Hilda) Goertzen, Vancouver Island, Mrs. Henry (Martha) Sperling, Langham, and many other relatives and friends. His sudden passing reminds us of Psalm 90:12, "So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
