The former Barbara Kauffman, she was born in Johnson County on June 4, 1871 and lived in this area throughout her life. She and her husband farmed in this area for many years. She made her home with a daughter, Mary Brenneman.

Member of Kalona, Ia. Church Dies at Age 94

Kalona, Iowa. — Mrs. Benjamin E. (Barbara) Brenneman, one of the oldest members of the Fairfield Conservative Mennonite Church here, died at her home March 13 at the age of 94. Funeral services were conducted at the church on March 16.

The former Barbara Kauffman, she was born in Johnson County on June 4, 1871 and lived in this area throughout her life. She and her husband farmed in this area for many years. She made her home with a daughter, Mary Brenneman.

Other survivors include three of her daughters and three sons and their families.
