WELL KNOWN GARAGE OPERATOR OF PARK VIEW, VA. DIED

Harrisonburg, Va. — Amos Brenneman, well known garageman of Park View, died suddenly of a heart attack Friday morning, Feb. 16, at his home in Park View.

A son of Benjamin and Anna Wenger Brenneman, he was born at Elida, Ohio, Nov. 6, 1885. On Jan. 17, 1932, he married Miss Maggie Showalter of near Broadway, Va. Mr. Brenneman spent his early life in Ohio, moving with his parents to Denbigh, Va., in 1900. Some years ago he moved south of Broadway where he lived until five years ago when he moved to Park View, where he was in the garage business with his brother, Aldine Brenneman.

He had been active in the Mennonite church from childhood, taking a special interest in Sunday school and week-day Bible school.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, George Brenneman, at home; four brothers, Aldine Brenneman, of Park View; John Brenneman, of Denbigh; Alfred Brenneman, of Denbigh; and Benjamin Brenneman, of Stuarts Draft, Va.; and one sister, Hannah Brenneman, of Denbigh.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 18, from the Zion Mennonite church near Broadway. Services were conducted by Bro. George R. Bunk, assisted by the brethren J. L. Stauffer and Truman H. Brunk.
