Suffers Stroke While Driving Car

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services were held Oct. 8 at the Shore Mennonite church near here for Jesse C. Brandeberry, 72, who suffered a stroke of paralysis while driving his car near Middlebury on Oct. 6. He died a few hours later at Elkhart General hospital.

A former resident of this community, Mr. Brandeberry farmed for a number of years and more recently was employed at a paper mill. He is survived by two daughters, four sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The services here were in charge of Percy Miller.
