Former GC Missionary, Pastor Dies at Age 70

Abbotsford, B.C. (GCMC) - Former General Conference Mennonite Church missionary and pastor Paul Boschman died Jan. 19 of cancer. He was 70.

He served with the Commission on Overseas Mission in Japan from 1951 to 1971. He pastored Mountainview Mennonite Church in Vancouver from 1974 to 1982 and West Abbotsford Mennonite Church from 1983 to 1988.

Boschman served on the Commission on Home Ministries board from 1974 to 1986. From 1990 to 1992, he worked part time as Chinese ministries coordinator for CHM and the Congregational Resources Board of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada.
