Indiana Amishman Dies at Age 101
Goshen, Ind. — John M. Borkholder, a member of the Amish church, died Feb. 4 near Shipshewana at the age of 101.
He was born near Nappanee on Aug. 22, 1867, and lived in that community and at Clark, Mo. most of his life, moving to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Levi B. Hostetler, four years ago.
His 293 descendants include four children, 35 grandchildren, 188 great-grandchildren, and 66 great-great-grandchildren.
