Parking Lot Accident Claims Life of Goshen Resident

Goshen, Ind. — John Willis Bontrager, 52, of rural Goshen died at the Goshen Hospital Nov. 19 several hours after suffering internal injuries in a parking lot here.

Mr. Bontrager and a carry-out boy from a local supermarket were putting groceries in the trunk of the Bontrager car when another car parked behind them and then lurched forward, pinning the two between the cars.

Mr. Bontrager, a member of the First Mennonite Church of Middlebury, was a foreman for the Starcraft Corp. here.
