GOSHEN YOUNG MAN INSTANTLY KILLED WHEN TRUCKS COLLIDE
Goshen, Ind. — Donald E. Bontrager, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bontrager of Route 1, Goshen, was instantly killed in a truck collision on U. S. Highway 6 near LePorte on April 21.
Funeral services were held April 23 at the Lawrence Street Mennonite church, Middlebury, with Rev. Wilbur Yoder in charge.
The Bontrager youth and a companion, Robert Kropf, were returning from a trip to California where they delivered two trailers for the Kropf Mfg. Co. of Goshen. They were riding in one pickup truck and pulling another one with the Kropf youth as driver when it collided with a large semitrailer. Mr. Kropf was not injured.
