Clarence W. Bolender, 76, of Canton died in Banner Elk, N. C. following a short illness. He became ill while visiting his step-daughter, Mrs. Donna Taylor. He was married to the former Mayme Hofstetter. He is also survived by a step-son, Stanley Hostetter of Wadsworth.
