MRS. HELEN BOLDT

Helen Boldt was born March 19, 1926 in Wolynia, Poland, the oldest of seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Lepholtz. Helen was three years old when together with her parents and another sister she immigrated to Canada, where they settled in the farming community of Minitonas, Manitoba.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour early in life and was baptized on May 13, 1940 at the age of 14 in the Minitonas Baptist Church by Rev. Richard Schilke.

She was united in marriage to Henry Boldt on May 12, 1949, and soon after they moved to Chilliwack, B.C. They joined the Broadway Church in 1958 and have been active in it. Their union was blessed with five children, two boys and three girls.

The Lepholtz family had not been together with all members present for more than 20 years. While travelling to a family reunion and the fiftieth wedding anniversary of her parents a tragic accident occurred near Swift Current, Sask. Helen was critically injured and went home to be with the Lord on July 1, at the age of 49.

Her sudden passing leaves to mourn her beloved husband Henry, and their five children: Gloria (Mrs. Andy) Silbernagel of Granisle, B.C.; Randy, Larry, and the twins Debbie and Donna at home, one son-in-law and two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lepholtz, Swan River, Man.; four sisters and two brothers; her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Boldt, Clearbrook, B.C.; and a host of relatives and friends.
