MRS. ANNA BOLDT

(Mrs.) Anna Boldt of Saskatoon passed away on March 17. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dick on December 9, 1896 in Prangenau, Russia. At the age of nine she received Christ as her Saviour. In her teens she came to a deep assurance of her faith through the ministry of her mother. During her later work at an orphanage, she was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church. She was married to Isaac Boldt on May 3,1924. The couple immigrated to Canada in 1926, settling first in Waldheim and then in Glenbush, Sask., where they farmed for 32 years. She was a charter member of the Glenbush MB Church. In 1960 they retired to Saskatoon, and celebraed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1974.

She is remembered by her family as a gracious, gentle and loving wife and mother, who by her faith and example instilled in the hearts of her children a deep desire to love God and serve others. She is survived by her husband Isaac; four sons and their wives, Jake and Annie, Werner and Martha, Walter and Doris, Rudy and Lydia; one daughter and her husband, Helga and Alvin Krahn; 23 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four sisters.
