Böse. — Alt und lebenssatt starb in der Alexanderwohler Gemeinde, Kan., der alte Vater Jakob Böse. Er war geboren im Jahre 1810, im Königreich Polen, zu Karolswalde, Wolhynien. Seine Mutter verlor er als er 8 Jahre alt war, und seinen Vater Gottlieb Böse in seinem 14. Jahre. – 1833 trat er in die Ehe mit Anna Köhn. 1835 zog er mit seiner Familie nach der Molotschna Kolonie, Südrußland, zog aber 1848 wieder zurück nach Polen, wo sie bis zum Jahre 1854 blieben, als sie wieder nach Südrußland zogen und dort blieben bis 1875, indem sie sich nun entschlossen, nach Amerika auszuwandern. Die Gattin starb 1887; er überlebte sie noch 12 Jahre. Der Herr segnete die Ehe mit 12 Kindern. Er ist über 97 Kinder Großvater geworden, und Urgroßvater über 33. Seine ganze Familie beläuft sich auf 142 Seelen, wovon 37 schon gestorben sind. — Sein Alter hat er gebracht auf 89 Jahre, 11 Monate und 7 Tage.
