● Walter Boese, 63, of Inman died Dec. 13 in Wichita after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the Lone Tree Mennonite Church, Galva, with Rev. Herman Nightengale officiating. Boese worked at the Certainteed plant in McPherson. Survivors include the widow, one son, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters and four grandchildren. A brother, Art Boese, and a sister, Esther Jantz, are residents of Newton.
