• Mrs. Anna Boese, 70, widow of Elmer Boese, died Nov. 10 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. The former Anna Enns of Buhler, she was the sister of Mrs. Samuel S. Penner of Newton. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Hillsboro First Mennonite Church, with Rev. Roland Goering in charge. Curt T. Vogt. 62, died Nov. 12 at Salem Hospital, Hillsboro. He was the husband of Esther Loewen Vogt, well-known author, and brother of Jake F. Vogt, Mrs. John Androes and Mrs. Henry E. Epp, all of Newton. Funeral services were held Friday forenoon at the Hillsboro M. B. Church with Rev. Marvin Hein and Rev. Paul D. Miller officiating.
