ANNA BOEHR
Anna Boehr, daughter of Johann Boehr and Anna Regier, was born on Nov. 20, 1884, in York county, Nebr. Here she grew up to womanhood. On June 19, 1907, she was baptized upon the confession of her faith by the elder Peter J. Friesen and received as member into the Bethesda Mennonite church.
All her life she was a frail, weak person. In 1935 she had the misfortune of breaking her hip, which left her an invalid the rest of her life. her sister Marie, upon whom she put her trust, passed away in 1938, leaving her and her aged father. They made their home with Dr. Isaac Boehr for a length of time until Father Boehr passed away in 1940. Anna was then taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Fremont, Nebr., where she was cared for until her end.
Anna was always of a bright, good nature. Even her years in bed could not rob her of this. In the hospital she was known as the one that was always cheerful in spite of all handicaps. Often she expressed the desire to be relived form this life to be with her Savior whom she had learned to love and trust. She passed from this life on July 26, 3:00 a. m., at Fremont, Nebr., attaining the age of 62 years, eight months and six days.
She leaves to mourn her departure Mrs. A. A. Regier of Henderson, Bernhard of Henderson, Jacob and Henry of Langham, Sask., Peter J., missionary in China, John W., Stillwater, Okla., Dr. Isaac, of Portland, Oregon, and many friends.
