The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell J. Bishop of Hatfield Township, was a 1974 graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. He was active in soccer and basketball and was a member of the school's Touring Chorus, for which he played guitar accompaniment. Since graduation he had been employed at the County Line Nursery.

Gregory was driving on Hatfield Valley Road when his auto was involved in a collision with one driven by Donald Kile, 27, of Quakertown. The Bishop auto left the highway, struck several small trees and rolled over, pinning him underneath. Kile's auto struck a utility pole. He was treated at a hospital and released.

Surviving Gregory in addition to his parents are two brothers, Thomas R. and David C., both of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. James Halteman of Upland, Ind.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abram Landis of Harleysville; and a step-grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth bishop of Eastern Mennonite Home.

Highway Accident Claims Life of Pennsylvania Youth

Souderton, Pa. — Funeral services were held at the Line Lexington Mennonite Church on Oct. 19 for Gregory D. Bishop, 18, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident the evening of Oct. 15.

The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell J. Bishop of Hatfield Township, was a 1974 graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. He was active in soccer and basketball and was a member of the school's Touring Chorus, for which he played guitar accompaniment. Since graduation he had been employed at the County Line Nursery.
