MAHLON ALFRED BENDER

Mahlon Alfred Bender, son of Daniel and Katherine Bender, was born July 26, 1904, at Milford, Nebr. , and died June 18, 1967, at Upland, Calif., from coronary thrombosis.

He was a member of the Seventh Street Mennonite church of Upland.

In 1926 he married Christina King at Tofield, Alta., who now survives him. Other survivors are, two sons, Harold, Hubbard, Ore., and Maurice, Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Luella, Mrs Richard Fahndrich, Tepic, Mexico, and one sister, Mrs. Thaler of Kitchener, Ont.

Funeral services were held June 24, 1967, at Zion Mennonite church in Hubbard, with Rev. Paul Brunner in charge. Burial was in the Zion church cemetery.

A memorial service was held at Upland on June 20, in charge of Rev Roger Richer, pastor of the Seventh Street Mennonite Church.
