STUDENT AT UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS KILLED IN CROSSING ACCIDENT

Washington, Ill. — Funeral services for Gerald Dean Bell, 21-year-old student at the University of Illinois who died in a railroad crossing accident near his home at Deer Creek, were conducted at the Calvary Mennonite Church here on Oct. 27.

The services were in charge of Rev. Heinz Janzen, the pastor, assisted by Rev. Ben Esch of Tiskilwa and Rev. Harry Yoder of Bluffton, Ohio.

The young man is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Basil Bell, on sister and one brother.
