• Mrs. Katie Becker, 87, widow of Peter J. Becker, died Feb. 4 at the Schmidt Nursing Home in Moundridge. Mrs. Becker formerly resided at Galva, and had been a patient at the home for 18 months. The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at the Lone Tree Church, with Rev. Abe Koehn in charge. Surviving are three daughters and seven sons, two sisters, Anna and Martha Koehn of Moundridge; 36 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
