• Miss Eva Becker, 81, a graduate nurse and resident of the Bethel Home for Aged since 1955, died early Saturday after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Monday forenoon at the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel by Rev. Arnold Epp. Miss Becker came to Newton from Meno, Okla. in 1942. She was a member of the New Hopedale Mennonite Church of Meno. Surviving are three sisters, Sister Mary Elizabeth Becker of Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Mrs. Anna Ratzlaff of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Ben Johnson of Dallas, Ore., and two brothers, Bernard of Newton and David of Meno.
