. . .

— The Washita Co. Enterprise of Corn, Okla., reported last week that "Mrs. A. J. Becker, 59 years old, who has served together with her husband as Missionary among the Indians near Indiahoma for thirty-seven years, passed away at a Chickasha hospital Thursday. She had undergone a serious operation several weeks ago. Her death did not come unexpectedly as doctors had given her little hope for recovery. All of her children were at her beside [sic] at the time of her death. The Post Oak mission is a M. B. church institution and has been taken care of by Rev. and Mrs. Becker since 1901. A special tent was put up at the Post Oak mission but the seating capacity of the Church and tent were inadequate to accommodate the large crowd which came to pay their last respect to the aged mission worker."
