Father of Missionary Dies at Wauseon, O.

Archbold, Ohio. — Funeral services for Joseph Beck, 79, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Fulton County, were held Feb. 3 at the North Clinton Mennonite Church.

Mr. Beck, father of Missionary Cari Beck of Old Mennonite mission field in Japan, died Jan. 30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Christenson in Wauseon, where he resided for several years.

Surviving in addition to the son in Japan ar his widow, Amanda; two other sons, Valerius and Delmar, both of Archbold; two daughters, Mrs. Erma Rufenacht and Mrs. Marjorie Short, both of Archbold; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Miller of Toledo; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
