Beecher, Mildred
"Mildred Beecher's death notice in The Newton Kansan gave her name as "Mildred Becher." ● Funeral services were held July 29 at Salem United Methodist Church, Newton, for Mildred Becher, 81, a professor of physical education at Bethel College for 33 years. She died July 26 at Friendly Acres Home for the Aged, Newton. She taught and participated in athletic activities through the early 1970s. She is survived by two nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother. Burial was in Moundridge Cemetery.
