Child of Missionaries Laid to Rest in India.

Rev. and Mrs. G. H. Beare, whose daughter Evelyn died at Dhamtari, India, some months ago, publish the following in India Mission News: "Evelyn Lucille Beare was born in Upland, California, July 5, 1924, and died at Dhamtari, C. P., India on October 1, 1931, ages 7 years, 2 months and 25 days. Just five years ago, when she was two years old, she sailed from America with her parents for India. She always loved India, the country, its language, and the people. Evelyn will always be remembered by her kind and sympathetic heart and sunny disposition. She leaves her bereaved parents and her sister, Allene, who is at school in Landour, Mussocrie, U. P.; also her grandparents, both Beare and Swartzendruber, who were looking forward to her returning to them after another year.

"On October 1st God in His infinite wisdom removed from our family circle our dear little Evelyn. That evening as we laid her to rest in the mango grove we fully realized that God's ways were not our ways, but we also realized that His grace was sufficient, and we could say, "Thy will be done.'"
