Fall from Cottage Roof Proves Fatal

Ephrata, Pa. — A fall from the roof of a cottage while making repairs at a farm near Millersville proved fatal to Samuel Bauman, 59, who was pronounced dead on arrival at a Lancaster hospital.

The funeral was held Sunday, Nov. 20, at the New Danville Mennonite Church, where he was long an active member. Formerly of Willow Street, he had moved to East Petersburg, Pa. a year ago. His wife, four daughters, 21 grandchildren, and brothers and sisters survive.
