Mr. Bartel died May 4 at Axtell Christian Hospital here. He was a long-time employee of the Marion County Highway Dept. until his retirement. Survivors include his widow, Eva Nickel Bartel, and two sons, Terry of Lincoln, Neb. and Dennis of Atlanta, Ga.

• Funeral services for Frank C. Bartel, 69, of Lehigh were held at the First Mennonite Church there the afternoon of May 8. Rev. Peter Goering, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Bartel died May 4 at Axtell Christian Hospital here. He was a long-time employee of the Marion County Highway Dept. until his retirement.
