Back of photo, translation: "I want to report to you who these are. Not everyone is on the pictures because Anna and her husband Unrau were not at the funeral. They had not received the telegram. The first is Wilhelm, the widow Voth, then the mother, then Jacob [W. Balzer?], then Jacob Konrat, then Mrs. Helena [Balzer? Konrat], and then Johann [Ekkart] next to his wife Katharina [Balzer?] Ekkart.
"We are all well. We send greetings and are waiting for work from there. I did write a letter but I don't know if you ever got it. Our address is: Russia, Crimea ... etc."
