— J. P. Balzer, a lifelong resident of the Hillsboro, Kan. community, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home on July 3. He had been in ill health for some time, however. Funeral services were held at the Hillsboro M.B. church, of which he was a member. His wife, children and grandchildren survive.
