— Funeral services are to be held Thursday afternoon at the Ebenfield [sic Ebenfeld] church between Hillsboro and Peabody for R. O. Ball, 31, one of two residents of the community who died in an airplane crash two miles west of Peabody last Sunday. the other victim was Elmo Clithero, 32, pilot of the plane. Both men are married and Clithero was the father of a small child. Funeral services for hm were to be held at the Christian church at Peabody. Witnesses said the plane was banked at a low altitude preparatory to landing in a wheat field, when it suddenly started losing altitude and crashed.
