ISAAC W. BAERG

Isaac W. Baerg was born on April 2, 1897, in Henderson, Nebraska. He emigrated to Canada with his family in 1901, and they began farming near Mennon, Saskatchewan. On March 13, 1922 he accepted the L'ord as his Saviour, and saan afterward was baptized into the Mennanite Brethren Church at D'a,lmeny. He was united in marriage to S'usan Lepp on August 2, 1923, a union that was blessed wit,h four children. After farming at various 'Ioc'at,ions, they moved to Saskatoan in 1938, where he wor ked at the Bessborough Hotel for 15 years. H is health began to fail, and he passed arway on October 12 in the City Hospita'i. He is survived by h'is wife, Susan; three daughters: Mrs. Archie (Gwendolyn) Kruger, Aberdeen, Sask ., Mrs . Gearge (Viola) Sch'ultz, Winnipeg, Man., Mrs. A'I'fred (Marianne) Luscombe, Mel,ville, Sask.; three sisters: Mrs. Aron Thiessen, Abbotsford, B.C., Mrs. Jacob Thiessen, Yarrorw, B.C., Mrs. Jacob Neufeld, Abbotsford, B.C .; two brothers: John W. Baerg, Saskatoon and DavidW. Baerg, Dalmeny, Sask.; and seven grandchildren . Funeral services were held -in the Central Mennonite Brethren Church, Saskatoan, with Henry J. Harder officiating .
