G. ERNEST [sic *ERNST] AUGSPURGER, son of the late Joseph and Amelia Iutzi Augspurger, was born on the old Augspurger homestead farm near Trenton, Ohio, Feb. 6, *1871, and passed away at his home, 308 Shafor St., Middletown, Ohio, August 11, 1938, after an illness of seven weeks, during which time he was in the care of his devoted sister, Miss Florence E. Augspurger.
He was reared in the Mennonite Church, and remained active in the congregation until his death.
He is survived by his sister, Florence, and three brothers, Otto and Victor of Monroe, and Warren of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services were held from the home of his brother Otto I, Augspurger, Monday, August 15 at 3 p. m. Rev. J. E. Amstutz officiated. Burial was made at Mound Cemetery, Monroe, Ohio.
