JOHN P. ANDRES

John P. Andres, of Saskatoon, was born in Russia in 1898. The family moved to the Langham area, where John accepted Christ as Saviour in his youth and joined the MB Church. In 1923 he married Anna Peters, and they moved to the Hepburn area, where they farmed until their retirement in Saskatoon in 1955.

In November, 1971 he was hospitalized for several months, after which he moved to Extendicare in Saskatoon. His brief stay there was happy in doing handwork and sharing God's love with others. He died on February 14 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by two sons and his wife, Anna, in 1972.

Left to mourn are four sons, four daughters, 27 grandchildren, four brothers, and seven sisters. Funeral services were held in the Central MB Church, Saskatoon, with Rev. H. J. Harder officiating.
