Amstutz — Waldo Edwin Amstutz was born in Orrville, Wayne county, Ohio, on October 12, 1894, and died at Geary, Oklahoma, January 4, 1927, at the age of 32 years, 2 months and 22 days.

At the age of 14 years he united with the Mennonite Church of Pratum, Oregon. Four years later, after the death of his parents, he returned to Geary, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage with Edna Stephens on May 5, 1918, at Geary. To this union was born one child their son, Wayne.

Waldo lived a beautiful Christian life, had a cheerful sunny nature and a smile for every one. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and a son: six brothers and five sisters; a large number of other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church on January 5, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. D. Penner with Rev. W. S. Shipp of the First Baptist Church assisting.
