text of obituary:

Amstutz. — Lena (Lugibill) Amstutz was born near Pandora in Putnam Co., O., April 18, 1870. In 1887 she was received through baptism, as a member of the Mennonite church. Jan. 29, 1891 she was married to Adam Amstutz. They were privileged to live together a little less than fourteen years. There were born to them seven daughters, now left motherless, the oldest one 13 years old and the youngest one 18 days. Mrs. Amstutz died Jan. 13, 1905, at the age of 34 years, 8 months and 25 days. A loving mother and a dutiful wife has been taken from a home where humanly speaking, she was most needed. We commend the bereaved husband and the motherless children to the loving care of the tender Shepherd who has promised never to leave his children alone. The services were conducted by Revs. N. C. Hirschy and P. P. Hilty.
