Althaus. — Am 11. April in Bluffton, O., Anna, Gattin von Johann Althaus, im Alter von 71 Jahren, 6 Monaten und 12 Tagen. Sie war 20 Jahre blind und 10 Jahre ans Bett gefesselt. Sie hat jedoch ihr schweres Leiden in christlicher Ergebung und großer Geduld getragen, wie der Herr ihr dazu Kraft und Gnade geschenkt hat. Das Begräbnis fand bei der Ebenezer Kirche statt, bei welcher Gelegenheit Pred. W. S. Gottschall die Leichenrede hielt.

Althaus. — On April 11 in Bluffton, Ohio, Anna, widow of John Althaus, aged 71 years, 6 months and 12 days. Mother Althaus was blind for 20 years and an invalid for 10 years during which time she was confined to her bed. She always bore her affliction with the greatest patience, and always seemed satisfied. Funeral services and interment at the Ebenezer Mennonite church, conducted by her pastor Rev. W. S. Gottshall.
