Alderfer. — Den 2. August bei Wadsworth, Ohio, Friedrich Alderfer, im Alter von 61 Jahren, 2 Monaten und 28 Tagen. Seit seinem 19. Lebensjahr war er ein thätiges Glied in der Wadsworth Mennoniten-Gemeinde. Seine Gattin Deborah (Longacre) Alderfer und die sechs Kinder der Familie betrauern seinen Tod. Leichenrede von N. C. Alderfer. — On August 2, 1899, at his home near Sharon, Ohio, Fred. Alderfer, aged 61 years, 2 months and 28 days. Mr. Alderfer was born in Shippach township, Montgomery county, Pa., May 4, 1838. As a young man he came to Ohio, making this state and county his home. On March 3, 1864, he was married to Deborah Longacre. This union was blessed with six children, 3 sons and 3 daughters, all of whom together with the mother survive to mourn the departure of father and husband. Interment at Woodlawn cemetery, Wadsworth, Ohio.
