Alderfer — Mrs. Deborah Alderfer died Tuesday evening, December 30, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. A. Grubb, 37 Marshall Avenue, Wadsworth,0., at the age of eighty years and ten months.

Mrs. Alderfer, with her husband, Fred, moved from Norton township, her birthplace, in Summit county, to Sharon township in Medina county in 1867. Following the death of her husband in 1901 she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Grubb. She was a life long member of the Mennonite church of Wadsworth.

Five children survive, two sons, J. M. Alderfer of Akron and F. G. Alderfer of Sharon Center, and three daughters, Mrs. A. H. Trump of Wadsworth, Mrs. D. A. Grubb of Akron and Mrs. George W. Cable of Cuyahoga Falls. One son, Prof. J. F. Alderfer of Oberlin conservatory of music, died in 1917 at Paris, France, where he served during the World war as staff secretary for the University Union.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Grubb, Thursday, Jan. 1, at 1 p. m., conducted by her pastor, followed by services at the Mennonite church at Wadsworth at 2 p. m. Burial was made in Woodlawn cemetery.
