DAVID ALAN ALBRECHT

David Alan Albrecht, son of Erwin and Magdalene Bixel Albrecht, was born on June 4, 1947 at Fotuna, Mo., and died in a motorcycle accident on Sept. 18, 1964 at the age of 17 years. In June of 1956 he moved with his parents to Bloomfield, Mont., where his father was called to the pastorate of the Bethlehem Mennonite church.

In his early youth he realized his need of the redeeming love of god and the claim of Jesus Christ upon his life; he yielded his heart to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his personal Saviour and found the peace and assurance for which he sought. On July 22, 1962 he was baptized on confession of faith and united in membership with the Bethlehem Mennonite Church. Here he took an active part, singing in the choir, serving as usher, on committees and as president of the Young People's Fellowship.

At the time of his death he was a member of the senior class of Richey High School, where this year he was chosen as president of the student council.

Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Angela Marie of Grace Bible Institute, Omaha, Neb., and Larita at home, also both the maternal and paternal grandmothers, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
