MRS. ADA LANDIS AHLUM, daughter of John H. and Caroline Knechel Landis, was born July 27, 1891 , and died June 9, 1944. She was baptized, as an infant in the Reformed Church. Of her own choice she joined the Flatland Mennonite Church in 1908. She was received into the membership by Rev. A. B. Shelly. In 1911 she was united in marriage to Edgar B. Ahlum. He and the following children survive the departed: John L., Mrs. Helen C. Kooker, Daniel J., Merritt E., James F., and Aaron W.
