text of obituary:

Martha Aeschbacher, daughter of Ulrich and Caroline Aeschbacher, was born in Moniteau County, Missouri, a mile north of Bethel church, on July 3, 1878. Here she resided until she was ten years old, when she moved with the family to the farm in Morgan County, three and one-half miles south of Bethel church. This has continued to be her home until the present time. In her early youth she united with the Bethel church, of which church she had been a consistent member until the time of her departure. She is survived by one sister and seven brothers. Besides the immediate family she is also survived by many other relatives and friends who mourn her going. She departed this life on February 14, 1936, having reached the age of 58 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

Funeral services were held at Bethel church by the pastor, Rev. Dirks, assisted by Rev. P. P. Hilty. Interment was in Bethel cemetery.
