Frank Adrian, 23 year old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Adrian of Inman, Kans., died at 5:00 o'clock last Wednesday evening at Bethel hospital of hydrophobia, which developed from the bite of a skunk at his home about three weeks ago.

The young man showed signs of the development of the fatal malady several days ago, and he was rushed to the hospital, but the virus of the poison bite had already advanced too far, and medical science and attendance was of no avail, and the young man gradually succombed [''sic''] to the terrible ravages of the dreaded disease as above stated.

Frank was a student at Bethel College last year and had planned to enter the college again this year. He was a bright student and a popular young man.

It was stated that he was sleeping in the barn when the attack took place.

SKUNK BITE IS FATAL TO FRANK ADRIAN OF INMAN

Frank Adrian, 23 year old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Adrian of Inman, Kans., died at 5:00 o'clock last Wednesday evening at Bethel hospital of hydrophobia, which developed from the bite of a skunk at his home about three weeks ago.

The young man showed signs of the development of the fatal malady several days ago, and he was rushed to the hospital, but the virus of the poison bite had already advanced too far, and medical science and attendance was of no avail, and the young man gradually succombed [sic] to the terrible ravages of the dreaded disease as above stated.

Frank was a student at Bethel College last year and had planned to enter the college again this year. He was a bright student and a popular young man.

It was stated that he was sleeping in the barn when the attack took place.

Funeral services were held at the Hoffnungsau church near Buhler last Saturday.
