FRANK W. RIFFEL

Frank W. Riffel of Buhler, Kansas died Sunday night, February 27, of a heart attack in Pomona, Calif., where he had gone on a business trip with Sam Schneider, of Albuquerque, N. M.

Mr. Riffel was born July 7, 1898, and had been a life-long resident of Hutchinson and Buhler. He was an active mechanic at the time of his death.

Surviving are his widow, Anna, of the home; four sons, Ervin of Hutchinson, Raymond of Moundridge, and Bob and Franklin, both of the Buhler home; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Riffel of Newton; five brothers, Abe of Thayer, E. W. and Jake, both of Buhler, George of Stockton, Calif., and John of Orland, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. A. S. Bergen of Newton, Mrs. D. S. Bergen of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Henry Patzkowski of California.

Funeral services were held at the Buhler Mennonite church on Friday afternoon, March 4, with Rev. Henry Fransen and Rev. Ervin Adrian officiating.
