FATHER OF FIVE MEETS DEATH WHEN CRUSHED UNDER FALLING TREE

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Funeral services were to be held at the Lester Troyer home near here on Friday, April 18, for Samuel E. Miller, 29, whose life was taken in a tragic accident at the Harry King farm the preceding Tuesday. Ben Troyer and Joe Beechy were to officiate at the final services.

Bro. Miller and Carl Mizer were cutting down a tree, which was deflected by another tree as it went down, and fell on the former. He was rushed to Union hospital but lived only from noon, the time of the accident, until 7:30 p. m.

He is survived by his wife, Lizzie Ann, and five children, all at home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Miller, and 13 brothers and sisters, all of this vicinity.
