Freeman Farmer Killed in Truck Accident
Freeman, S. D. — Sam A. Hofer, 65, died instantly June 11 when his stock truck collided with another truck at an intersection north of Freeman.
He apparently failed to stop at the stop sign, according to a South Dakota highway patrolman. The driver of the other truck was not injured.
Funeral services for Hofer were held at Salem Mennonite Brethren Church.
