Missionary to Indians In South Dakota Dies

Hillsboro, Kan. — Word was received at the Mennonite Brethren missions offices here that Mrs. Earl Hedlund of the Porcupine Gospel Mission at Porcupine, S. D. died March 11 at the age of 53. She had been in ill health for several years.

Mrs. Hedlund was the former Rosella Flaming of Bingham Lake, Minn. She and her husband had served as missionaries to the Indians for a number of years under the Central District M. B. Conference.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, one a student at Tabor College and the other attending Nebraska Christian High School.

Funeral services were held March 15 at the Carson M. B. Church at Delft, Minn.
